Transforming Steelmaking
We are accelerating our transition to zero-carbon emissions by transforming our operations.
By 2030, a shift to Direct Reduced Iron (DRI) technology and Electric Arc Furnace (EAF) production processes will enable the introduction of embodied reduced carbon steel solutions which will further accelerate the reduction of our carbon footprint as well as the increased use of recycled content.

What is Zeremis?

We recognise the world cannot wait, so we are taking action now by accelerating projects that reduce carbon emissions.

The carbon savings we make today are captured in a carbon bank. This allows us to offer carbon credits through a range of insetting solutions that enable you to reduce your carbon footprint now.
