In November, we participated for the first time in the Tech Industry 2025 fair in Riga, which is the most significant technology and industry event in Baltic region. The event provided us with a valuable opportunity to meet our existing customers face-to-face, tell them more about our activities, and create new contacts with companies we were not yet familiar with.

“This was our first time at this trade fair with our own stand. Tech Industry provided us with a channel to strengthen our presence in the Baltic region. There were also a few other Finnish companies present, but we would like to see more of them at future trade fairs”, says Tata Steel Naantali’s Sales Manager Marko Juhannusvuori.

Our extensive warehouse selection and the Tata Steel’s ability to supply different materials attracted widespread interest among visitors at our stand. We also talked about Tata Steel Nederland’s Zeremis products which offer solutions for green steel and sustainable development. Ecology and responsible operations naturally came up in discussions. Environmentally friendly solutions interest customers also in the Baltic market.

“The Baltic region strives to closely monitor global trends and always be at the forefront of developments. That is why the emergence of various sustainable development projects and new innovations are also being closely monitored. Tata Steel Nederland already has a clear roadmap for how cleaner steel will be produced in the future. This is a topic of interest in the Baltics," says Tata Steel’s Eno Saar, Area Sales Manager for Baltics.
