Notes
The figures contained in this table are typical properties and do not constitute a
specification. If forming pre-finished steel below 16°C please consult Tata Steel for further
information. If the product is ordered as anti-static, surface resistance will be between 106–109
Ω/cm2 according to ASTM D257.
*For high white shades higher coating thicknesses are required.
**Corrosion and humidity performance subject to specification such as minimal metallic
coating weight.

Manufactured with care
We manufacture Advantica® GM using a hot-dip galvanized substrate to EN 10346. Following a pre-treatment, an anti-corrosive primer is applied. A smooth polyester topcoat is applied on top of the primer. The nominal total organic coating thickness is 25µm.
The reverse side of the product has a backing coat which provides excellent adhesion to most forms of adhesive and insulation.
Forming and processing
Advantica® products can be formed and processed with various techniques including: cutting, shearing, notching, piercing, slitting, press braking, folding, roll forming, spinning and deep drawing.
