Lidmore Farm and Washington D.C may be miles apart, but suprisingly the inspiration for this client was generated when he visited the Smithsonian Folk Festival in the US Capital back in June 2009.

Colorcoat Urban® had a presence at this festival (which can be seen on a separate case study) and the client was delighted to learn that this product was in fact made in Wales, as he was keen to use a Welsh product to match his oak boarding.

One of the great benefits for the client in using Colorcoat Urban® was that he was able to achieve an incredibly neat valley detail between his inter-linking roofs, and with the roof being so low the aesthetics of his roof took on additional importance.

The roof is a standard duo-pitch, which is perfect for Colorcoat Urban®'s quick fit system, and this has resulted in a fantastic overall aesthetic.
