The requirements for Paignton library were for the roof to be made water tight and clad quickly, with the neat detailing of a traditional standing seam, whilst achieving an aged copper aesthetic.
Colorcoat Urban® were the ideal solution to the clients needs, having developed a quick fit system for reduced on site fixing times, and with a short lead time, the building was made water tight and clad in a timely manner.
Colorcoat Urban® have developed a range of colours that blend with the urban landscape, and the aged copper aesthetic was achieved using Patina (a colour designed specifically for the aged copper market). This colour has proven to be popular with a School and Crematorium also due to use it this year.
